Welsoft Fabric

The width of Welsoft fabric is 180 cm and it is a double-sided fabric. Welsoft fabric is an antibacterial plush fabric used in home textile products and is quite healthy, especially for children and adults with dust allergies such as asthma and bronchitis. Standing out with its soft texture and heat-retaining property, Welsoft fabric also has a stain-resistant structure. Being washable and wipeable also provides convenience to its users.

This fabric is frequently preferred especially in cold countries and regions. As well as being used in home textile products, it is also widely used in the clothing industry for items such as jackets, coats, skirts, overcoats and parkas. It is a multi-purpose fabric that can be used in many designs such as carpet covers, bedspreads, towels, bathrobes and decorative items.

Welsoft fabric is a versatile fabric that offers great convenience to designers and has many areas of use. As a high-quality and healthy option, it is ideal for home textile products.

According to the washing instructions, a delicate wash at 30 degrees should be performed, and colored-product detergent should be used for colored items. Optical detergent, bleach and chlorine bleach must not be used. It cannot be tumble dried and can be dry cleaned.

Calculation Tips

Mind the fabric width: The table values are for 140-150 cm width. With 220 cm width fabric you can buy about 20% less.
Patterned fabric: For large patterns (florals, stripes, etc.) buy 15-20% extra fabric for pattern matching.
Pleated and full pieces: Require 2-3 times the fabric of a straight cut.
Shrinkage allowance: A 3-5% shrinkage on the first wash is normal for cotton fabrics. Pre-washing is recommended.
Seam allowance: A 1-1.5 cm seam allowance is included in the tables.
Lining: Lined projects need as much lining fabric as the main fabric.
