Description

Altınyıldız Lastikotin Fabric

Width : 150 cm

It is a thin, flexible and durable dress fabric woven from fine worsted (kamgarn) yarns. It is also used for tuxedos, skirts and two-piece suits. In one type used for heavy-weight military uniforms, a two-ply structure is applied in a 2Y1A layout, with a panama twill (basket twill) face and a plain-weave back. Fine merino wool is used in its yarn, and it is usually made in white, black and dark navy colors. After being woven in white, it is colored by piece dyeing.

Washing Instructions

Do not tumble dry.
Can be ironed at a maximum of 150 degrees.
Dry cleaning is possible.

The average meterage values below are calculated for standard sizes and a 140-150 cm width. They include a 3-5% shrinkage allowance and seam allowances. For wider widths (180-220 cm), 10-20% less fabric may be enough.

Calculation Tips

Mind the fabric width: The table values are for 140-150 cm width. With 220 cm width fabric you can buy about 20% less.
Patterned fabric: For large patterns (florals, stripes, etc.) buy 15-20% extra fabric for pattern matching.
Pleated and full pieces: Require 2-3 times the fabric of a straight cut.
Shrinkage allowance: A 3-5% shrinkage on the first wash is normal for cotton fabrics. Pre-washing is recommended.
Seam allowance: A 1-1.5 cm seam allowance is included in the tables.
Lining: Lined projects need as much lining fabric as the main fabric.
