From three threads that are generally used differently from one another, the first ground thread forms the ground knit, the second thread (the backing thread) forms the surface, and the third binding thread makes the structure more solid while preventing the backing thread from showing on the face of the fabric. For this reason, combed jersey fabrics are heavier-built knitted fabrics.
Like two-thread fabrics, it is found as thick jersey in sweatpants and sweatshirts; considerably thicker than two-thread, soft, some plain without brushing and some with the inner surface brushed, that is, fluffed and made cottony. Its texture resembles sweat tracksuits.
